NEW Bathroom Scrub Mitt

OK I have to admit that I am not really a very good cleaner, especially with three kids it gets to be rather discouraging when you spend all day doing it and can hardly see the progress.

I usually do most of my cleaning during the day since I am not a night person.  Since everyone always wants to “help” I don’t use cleaners not to mention I don’t really like to use them so I try and do it all naturally.  Well tonight I got energetic and started in on the bathroom – I only use the mitt on the tub.  I was happily cleaning and getting mad because I could not get the gunk out of the sink (I really don’t like to use harsh cleaners) and I thought of the mitt – fast, easy and I don’t think the sink has looked that white since we got it.  Absolutely amazing how well it worked on the build-up (it never ceases to amaze me how much soap kids use and leave sitting in the sink).  So you have my vote on it just for that alone.
I may actually clean the bathroom more often at this rate :)

Norwex Descaler

I wish I had taken a before and after picture for you. I used the descaler on a beautiful glass bowl that I made punch in this past weekend. The bowl  had circles around the inside that I have scrubbed and scrubbed.   Then I remembered I bought some descaler from you.  I sprayed, left it for 15 minutes, came back washed it twice and shazamm. I have my big beautiful bowl back .

Thank you Carla; by the way the freezie punch was a hit.  Thanks for telling me I can use it on the cars too.

Norwex Microfiber Cloth

I have a new baby and in doing the night time feeds it can sometimes be messy if she spits up.  One night she made an awful mess on our new leather recliner, I thought I had cleaned it all up nicely but the next morning I realized I had missed quite a bit between the cushion and arm rest.  Leather is not a material that I use cleaners on so I got out a cloth and water, but it had been sitting long enough that I could not get the marks off.  Months later I got a Norwex microfiber cloth and to my surprise with a bit of scrubbing the marks finally came off.  Then I discovered a wonderful new use for the cloth – letting my kids help me clean.    Now when I dig out the cleaning supplies they get their own microfiber cloth to use on the walls/floors or where ever they want to help clean and I don’t worry about them getting into chemicals because I don’t have to use them and they enjoy “helping” me.

Norwex – Sport Towel
These are fantastic for travelling, dry in motels very quickly and are super absorbent. The travelling pouch makes them very easy and compact to pack.

Sportzyme

I bought Sportzyme because I had my daughter in cloth diapers and nothing would eliminate the odour in her pail, that smell can really linger too. I would clean it and attempt to deodorize it with Lysol, but you could still smell the stink of old diapers. Then I tried Sportzyme. Every week when I would have my delivery for diapers I would remove the dirty laundry, wipe the pail with an damp enviro cloth then spray Sportzyme into it. I would then leave the pail outside for a couple of hours to air out and dry. I eliminated the stench!! and I also would use Sportzyme in her garbage where I would throw the wipes. I am a proud consumer of Sportzyme and would reccommend it to anybody who has an organic odor problem.

Norwex Laundry Detergent

I must say, the more I use the Norwex products, the more I like them!  I am so excited that I learnt about Norwex and so happy to be sharing it with others!

As for the Norwex detergent, I often will use it on Brooke’s little pink and white tops that she has managed to spill or get her crafting materials on.  I just dissolve a small amount in warm water and then use it as a presoak.  The other day, Ty had a nose bleed on his cream bed sheets and onto the mattress pad – the detergent easily removed the blood quite quicky!  Very amazing really!  I am now using the detergent all the time with my everyday laundry and I am noticing that my towels no longer have a musty smell!  I do love it!

As an aside, I have to tell you how much easier cleaning my toilets is with the toilet system – I cannot believe it took me so long to purchase it!!

Thanks!

Norwex Laundry Soap and Dryer Balls

It was a good thing I bought the dryer balls and the soap.   I’m so pleased with both products.   I wanted to let you know that the soap works fantastic in our well water.   Some of my laundry was looking dingy with our water and whatever soap I was previously using.   But I sure notice an improvement with the Norwex soap. It truly does whiten and brighten.   I’ve never been able to use any other powdered soap as it wouldn’t dissolve in our water so I’ve used liquid soap for years.  I only need to use half to three quarters of that little measuring cup of the Norwex.

My dream would be to have all your products in my house and to be able to buy Norwex for my friends too!

Cleaning Paste

I really enjoy cleaning. Always have. And I like things neat. My husband is a tea drinker so we have a kettle always on the stove. This was his before marriage and he is attached to it! But I could never get it shiny! With a gas stove top this kettle had what I call heat stains and water marks. I wanted it shiny! I was given the cleaning paste in a small sample to try from a friend. She said she had it for years and loved it. I looked at it. It looked like a 1/2 teaspoon of icing sugar. I thought this is it? I would need a cup to tackle my kettle. Well, this little bit polished up that kettle like new! So I bought a jar and attacked things I had always dreaded cleaning like the glass door on my oven, the inside glass on my fireplace and it cleans my sinks better then that “other brand” that I have since thrown out. It has taken scuff marks off my floors and cooked on spilled on food off my stove top! They say this one jar should last you years but I am not sure as I find more things to clean and polish. Think I better get a back up!

Norwex Mop

One of Carla and my favorite past times is heading out in our fifth wheel and exploring new country, however for everything good there seems to be some pain that needs to go along with it. In the case of the trailer it has always been the cleaning up after an outing. On average it would take me 1 ½ to 2 hours to clean up the exterior, make sure the awning was dry and get it ready for the next adventure. I have always been a bit of a Traditionalist when it comes to cleaning the trailer and vehicles using a mild soap, my car wash brush and mitt, and most recently the Mr. Clean Car Wash System.

I had been eyeing up the mop (Carla’s) for some time and decided I to give it a try when I pulled the trailer out of storage this year. With the extendable handle, and thin design of the mop base it was a breeze. No more mitt, and no more soap, the thin design let me squeeze in under the ladder, and awning arms, flip it around and clean the under side of the bedroom. When I was done scrubbing I simply rinsed out the mop, rung it as dry as possible and proceeded to dry the exterior and windows (no streaks I might add). Total time was ¾ of an hour tops. Since trying the mop I have also tried it on our glass patio railing with the same great results and minimal pain.

I was on a roll I so opened up the awning and proceeded to give it a good cleaning, when I was done – same thing, I wrung it out wiped it to speed the drying process.

I might add our trailer is a hard wall, and for those of you who have hard wall R.V’s you know the black streaks that come down off the roof are unsightly, and they leave nasty stains that are tough to get off. This year Carla introduced me to the Norwex de-scaler, I simply sprayed it on, and smeared it over the stain and then 15 minutes later wiped it off.

I know this may seem a strange request but for Father’s day this year I want the Norwex mop, to add to my cleaning arsenal in the garage.
